You can further customize the QuickPoll component by editing the MovieClips that the component uses. To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1: Choose a Skin
Inside the Component folder, there is a folder labeled "Skins". The default skin is located in file "skin_1.fla".
To see the style of each skin, go in the library and open the folder named "QuickPoll_skin". Find the symbol named "visual_items" and drag it to the stage.
Step 2:
After you have selected a skin to work from, open it in Flash. Then open or create the Flash file that contains the QuickPoll component. Go into the library of the skin.fla and drag the folder named "QuickPoll_skin" to the library of the Flash movie that contains your QuickPoll. Now you can close the skin.fla file.
Step 3:
Iin your Flash file, go to the library and open the folder named "QuickPoll_skin". Double-click on the symbol named "visual_items". Inside, you will see layers labeled for the elements you can edit.
Double-click on the MovieClip you want to edit. In most cases you will need to open MovieClips inside of MovieClips until you get to the editable artwork. Once you have made changes you will need to publish the Flash file to see the updates on QuickPoll.
